Description
YT Music Manager is a local MCP server for developers who already chat with an AI that can call tools. Clone the GitHub repo, create your own Google OAuth client (YouTube Data API, “TVs and Limited Input devices”), sign in once with ytmusicapi oauth, then point Cursor, Claude, or Gemini CLI at server.py. After that you can say things like “add Heart of Courage to this playlist” and it edits YOUR YouTube Music playlists. This is not a web app and not something a typical YouTube listener needs. There is no hosted login. Keys stay on your machine. Setup, tools, and client config: GitHub README (Open app).
